SATURDAY LINO PRINT WORKSHOP

Learn to design cut and print your own art work using the lino printing process. Lino is super easy to learn and so much fun. The workshop is equally suited to complete beginners as well as those with experience as I will teach not only how to cut and print but also some unusual inking techniques. This workshop is open to adults and older children and teens. Morning and afternoon sessions available to book now.
PRINTMAKING TECHNIQUES Intro to collographs
October 3rd, 10th,

This printmaking taster course will introduce you to making collographs, a printmaking technique where you create a textured surface using simple collage materials such as tin foil, cardboard, plastics, fabric to make a textural surface from which to print, it is an easy and super effective way of creating interesting images. Suitable for adults and older children.
PRINTMAKING TECHNIQUES
(six week course)

This printmaking taster course will introduce three printmaking techniques, linocut, collagraph and drypoint etching. You will gain an insight into three very different printmaking processes, learn how to ink printing plates, register prints and use a printing press. This course is suitable for beginners and also people with some printmaking experience. All materials for each project will be provided.
PRINTMAKING OPEN STUDIO SESSIONS
Tuesdays, 6-9pm
Venue: Wild at Art studio, 3 Elgin Street, Central, HK
Cost: HK$ 400 per session, all materials included
This is an open studio session for those who have previously completed a printmaking workshop with Lucy who will be available for technical guidance in these sessions. The aim is for participants to be able to develop their own ideas and to practise skills learnt, in a mutually supportive environment, encouraging the development of a printmaking community based at Wild at Art. The studio is equipped with a small freestanding etching press suitable for dry point, lino, embossing, woodcut and collagraph. Inks and paper can be provided at cost or you are welcome to bring your own. (water washable inks only please) Sessions need to be signed up for a minimum of three days in advance. Monthly masterclass skills workshops will be held on a saturday if you would like to learn new techniques. (bookable separately).
CREATING DYNAMIC SKETCHBOOKS

Do you have a sketchbook but don't really know how to transform it from a few quick drawings into a creative, interesting record of what has inspired you to sit down and sketch?
Join artist and urban sketcher Lucy Parris to find out how to compose your sketchbook pages, use colour, collage, type and notetaking to make your sketchbook a vibrant record of the world around you. Each week will focus on a different subject matter at both indoor and outdoor locations.
DRAWING AND SKETCHING SKILLS

Would you like to be able to draw what you see?
This is a fun and focused drawing course which will suit beginners as well as anyone who wants to improve existing skills and understanding of techniques.
Use a variety of media including pen and ink, pencil drawing and coloured pencils
Projects will develop your understanding of perspective, proportion and creating atmosphere, through a series of creative drawing exercises and still life studio compositions you will be encouraged to develop your own drawing style.
Includes all drawing materials needed.
URBAN SKETCHING
