Linocut for beginners (x4 weeks)

Service Description

This four week comprehensive Linocut printmaking course will teach you how to design, cut and print Lino. Topics covered will be how to compose a successful print, mark making with lino tools, colour mixing and layering, simple multi block printing. No experience is necessary but if you have some done some lino before and want to improve your skills or extend your knowledge and experience this will also give the opportunity to do so. Course content: Week 1: Single colour lino print, cutting skills, composition, mark making Week 2: Two block lino, colour mixing and layering Week 3: Simple Reduction lino print using 3 colours NO CLASS 19th Feb due to Chinese New Year Holiday
