Etched Lino with reduction print

Service Description

This two week skills session will introduce you to the etched lino process. You will make a small reduction print using two or three colours and one etched area in order to understand the possibilities of this technique. You will learn how to create textures and brush like marks on lino using a caustic soda solution. This skills session covers two consecutive weeks as the etch needs time to cure. Week 1: Design, cut, print first colour, etch lino Week 2: Print etched area, final colour layer.
